Nothing Clears Yet, and That's the Report
The slate dropped this morning and every game on it has been run through the full board since: moneyline, spread, total, player props. That is the whole menu, scanned, not skimmed.
Here is the honest picture. Playoff-caliber lines get tight in a hurry because the sharp money arrives early and it arrives with conviction. By the time most people are looking at a number, the people who move numbers have already been there. The mispricing you were hoping for on a marquee matchup usually died before lunch.
What tends to survive that first wave is the stuff that requires more work to price. Player props, specifically points, rebounds and threes, where the market is reacting to a role change or a matchup wrinkle more slowly than it reacts to a team total. Second-half markets too, because those get repriced on the fly and the repricing is not always clean. That is where the remaining air usually is on a night like this, and that is where the attention stays.
But none of it matters if the number does not clear. The threshold is the threshold. There is no version of this where a slow night gets a discount, no leaning on a play because the page looks empty, no talking yourself into a side because you watched the tape and liked what you saw. Liking a team is not an edge.
The scan keeps running through tip. A play posts the second one clears, and not a minute before.
