Nothing Clears Yet, and That's the Report
The slate dropped this morning and every game on it has been run through moneyline, spread, total, and player props since. That's the full board, not a sampling. Nothing has cleared the EV threshold.
This happens, and it happens most often on nights like this one. Playoff-caliber lines get tight fast because the sharp money hits early, usually before most people have looked at the schedule. By the time a casual bettor pulls up a number, it's already been shaped. The soft spots that existed at open are gone, and what's left is a market that's close to correct.
What tends to survive that early action is more granular. Player props are where the pricing gets thinner, because books have to post a number on every rotation guy's points, rebounds, and threes, and they can't defend all of them equally. Second-half markets are the other place. Those lines get hung quickly off live information, and quick means imperfect.
So that's where the attention sits as the day goes. Not forcing a side on a game that's priced where it should be priced. A number being available is not a reason to bet it, and a quiet board is not a problem to be solved by lowering the bar.
The threshold doesn't move because the night is slow. It doesn't move because readers want action. A play posts the moment one clears, and not before.
