No Plays Yet, and That's the Honest Read
The slate dropped this morning and every game on it has been run through the full board since: moneyline, spread, total, player props. Nothing has cleared yet.
That happens, and it happens more often on nights like this. Playoff-caliber lines tighten fast. Sharp money arrives early, it arrives in volume, and by the time most people are looking at a number it has already been shaped by people who were looking at it first. The price you see in the afternoon is frequently a better price than the one that existed at open, and not in your favor. Fighting that just to have a side posted is how you bleed slowly.
Where the edges actually survive that process is narrower than people expect. Player props hold value longer because the market has to price dozens of individual outcomes instead of one game result, and attention is spread thin. Points, rebounds, threes. Second-half markets are the other pocket, because the number gets rebuilt in-game off a smaller sample and reacts to what just happened rather than what is likely to happen next.
So that is the watch list. Not because those markets are inherently better, but because they are where inefficiency tends to still be sitting after the sharp action has done its work on the primary lines.
The threshold does not bend for a slow night. A play posts when it clears the EV threshold and not a minute before. If one clears, it lands.
