No Plays Yet, and That's the Honest Read
The slate dropped this morning and every game on it has already been run through the full board: moneyline, spread, total, player props. Nothing has cleared yet. That is not a stall, it is the result.
Anyone who has sat on a laptop at eleven in the morning watching playoff-caliber numbers knows how this goes. Those lines tighten in a hurry. Sharp money does not wait for the afternoon injury report to trickle out, it hits early and it hits the sides and totals first, because that is where the liquidity is. By the time the general public is checking a screen, the obvious angles on a marquee matchup have usually been priced out of existence.
So where does anything survive? Historically, in the corners. Player props are the most common place, specifically points, rebounds and threes, where the books are pricing dozens of individual lines per game and cannot sharpen all of them at the same speed. Second-half markets are the other spot, for the same structural reason. Fewer eyes, later pricing, more room for a number to sit a tick off where it belongs.
That is what the engine is combing through right now. The threshold is the threshold. A slow night does not lower it, and a marquee national TV matchup does not earn an exception just because it would make for better copy.
The moment something clears, it posts. If nothing does, nothing does.
