No Plays Yet, And That's The Honest Read
The full slate has been through the model since the board dropped this morning. Moneylines, spreads, totals, player props, every game, every market. Nothing has cleared yet.
That is not inertia. It is what happens when the lines are good.
Playoff-caliber matchups get priced correctly almost immediately, because the sharp money arrives before most people have looked at the schedule. The opening number on a game like that lives for minutes, not hours. By the time the public is awake, the market has already absorbed the information and squeezed out the slack. You can stare at a side all morning and convince yourself there is something there, but if the number has already moved to meet the truth, you are just buying a fair price with juice attached.
Where the slack tends to survive is further down the board. Player props are the usual hiding spot, points, rebounds, threes, because they are priced in volume and they respond more slowly to rotation and matchup detail than a game spread does. Second-half markets are the other spot, for the same reason. Those get a closer look as the day goes on.
The threshold does not bend for a slow night. A play posts when the expected value is there and it does not post when it isn't, and the cost of forcing one is always paid later, usually in a stretch where nothing feels like it is working and the real reason is that half the tickets never should have been written.
If something clears, it goes up the moment it does.
